There remain many bills to be paid, and the family appreciates your generosity.
With great sadness, the family shares the news that David died early in the morning on July 21, 2022. There are still considerable complications and costs to getting David home. Certainly, there will be celebrations of life in Michigan and Georgia, but we can't even think that far ahead. David Schneberger was on the Amalfi Coast in Italy when he took a 50 ft. fall on June 13th. He sustained the following injuries: A brain bleed, seven fractured ribs, collapsed and bruised lungs, a dislocated hip and a broken ankle. He was airlifted to a hospital in Italy, where he remains in Intensive Care today. His daughter and her mother are there, meeting with the doctors daily. We expect David will be in Italy for at least another month before returning to the U.S. One or two of his family will be staying nearby to stay up to date on his care and be his advocate. Medical and transportation costs will be astronomical. The family would greatly appreciate any generosity on your part.
