Parents of David Soutar Jr

Hi my name is Heather soutar. I am starting this go fund me for my parents Melissa & Dave soutar. My brother David soutar Jr was killed in a motorcycle accident august 27th, 2023. He was working at brembo at the time of his accident and he did have a life insurance policy. He left his son as the beneficiary, he wanted to make sure his boy would be ok.. we were told at the time my brothers funeral would be covered and the remaining money would go into an account for his son when he turned 18. The funeral home, my brothers work, and the life insurance people were all in communication the whole time, the I’s were dotted, Ts were crossed. Wasn’t no doubt the funeral was being paid. Few weeks after, the funeral home called and since he didn’t have a beneficiary over 18 all the money would go into a bank account for his son when he turned 18. Part of my brothers auto insurance policy would pay up to 3,000 if something happened and they did pay the max 3,000 towards his funeral sense his life insurance didn’t pay for it. My parents are now being taken to civil court to have their wages garnished for David’s funeral. I am trying to raise money towards it. Any and all donations will go towards David’s funeral cost, and if we get anything over it will all go towards helping my parents get caught up on their bills and everyday necessities. Grieving parents who can’t catch a break and now being sued for their sons funeral. Thoughts, prayers or any donation however big or small helps tremendously.
