4/5/23 UPDATE:
Dear all,
We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous contributions. Your kindness and support during this difficult time have been truly uplifting, and we are incredibly grateful for each and every one of you.
As we come together to remember and celebrate David's life, it's clear that he touched the lives of so many people. He was a kind, compassionate, and loving person who always went out of his way to help others, and it's clear from the outpouring of support we've seen that his impact was far-reaching.
It's bittersweet to think that he did not realize just how loved he was. But we take comfort in knowing that his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched during his short time with us.
Once again, thank you for your generosity and support. Your contributions have helped ensure that David will be remembered and celebrated in a way that honors his life and legacy. We apologize for the delay in announcing services, we will provide an update in the next few days. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Cheryl, Larissa & Family
It is with great sadness that we write this, as Cheryl Johnson (Aria’s mother), Larissa Peterson and family.
On Saturday, March 25th we lost an honorable young man. David Keller was loved by many and had the biggest and kindest heart. His mother Annemarie was kind and unfortunately left this world too soon. His father Timothy Keller was a long-time FDNY member who unfortunately passed away after his efforts at ground zero. David admired his dad and followed in his footsteps as a junior firefighter. He was part of the Levittown Fire Department and was a member for many years doing what he loved which was helping people.
His daughter Aria was his world and everything he did was for her. His sudden passing as you can imagine has her heart broken.
We are requesting monetary contributions to help the family provide a proper memorial service. To those of you who knew him best, he was always willing to help even if they were complete strangers. He is truly loved and this is beyond heartbreaking for all of us. He did not really have much but he always tried his hardest. Any help for the family is greatly appreciated. Details for the memorial service will be provided. Thank you.
