RIP David Teffer, Fish, Grumpy Old Concrete Guy, Papa.
Donation protected
*Edit: it’s been pointed out by my wonderful cousin Mae that adding our Venmo info is a good way for Janet and Jess to receive 100% of your donations (they take a percentage here), so my name in there is Mark Teffer (just like in real life), and you’re welcome to donate that way too. My picture there is of me with baby Sedona strapped to my chest.
David Paul Teffer was known to many people, from Wisconsin to Cape Cod (and beyond), as a giver. It was his natural inclination to give his family, his friends, random hitchhikers, and each concrete slab EVERY ounce of blood, sweat, and tears he could offer.
Many people have reached out before and after his passing on January 18th to ask how they could give back to him, what they could do to help in his and our family’s struggle.
David wasn’t one to beg, he worked harder than anyone I’ve met for all that he had, but his yearlong battle and now his shocking absence has left the Cape Teffers in a rough spot, in all of the ways you’d expect.
This fundraiser is to help Janet, his wife, and Jessica, his daughter, find a new way to live in the aftermath of David’s passing. Sons John and Mark will benefit by knowing that their mother and sister can afford to keep the heat on.
It’s not cheap to live anywhere, and most people don’t have enough to retire or relax on, and the last thing David or his family would want is for anyone to give what they don’t have. If you can give, we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
And if you can’t, we do the same, for keeping David and his family in your heart, thoughts, and prayers.
‘You gotta love it’
PS, we have no date scheduled for a service at this time, we will post info when a time and place are determined, right now the general thought is for the spring.
