Stan and Maureen; Davy’s parents, would like to thank everyone for their generosity and kindness. Although it is a really difficult time, your blessings and the love the community has shown for David, has offered comfort. David’s funeral will be held on Friday 26th January, 1:30pm at Tynemouth Crematorium. Please wear any colour you like or your black and white stripes. David would have hated us all suited and booted. We respectfully ask for family flowers only. We will confirm further details in due course.

As many of you will already know, we very sadly lost our friend, David Thackstone, at the weekend, at the tragically young age of 42.

David was a much loved son to Stan and Maureen and a cherished friend to many of you reading this. He will be very sadly missed.

Funeral costs are significant and we would like to give Stan and Maureen one less thing to deal with at this extremely difficult time. Whilst we understand that these are trying financial times for many, any contribution you feel able to make towards those costs would be greatly appreciated.
