David "Willie" Parsons Services

Many people that don't have the best luck with technology (just like my dad!) wanted me to put this page together to support my dad, David "Willie" Parsons, in getting the services he wanted and deserves. He passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2020 and we still do not understand what transpired and why he had to leave us so soon. My dad was a people person and I am heartbroken that we could not say goodbye to him before he left us. He didn't like being alone and would always be calling his family and friends saying "heyyy what's doing" in a positive manner to stay in the know of all his loved ones. Even when he was out of work due to an injury he wanted to stay in the loop and share laughs with everyone to pass his days. My goal is for everyone that was lucky enough to know my dad and those that hear his story to come together at this time to help us say goodbye to him properly. He is the kind of guy who would take his shirt off his back for anyone, run out of the house to go help somebody and want everyone to come together to support anyone in need, especially if you were from his beloved city of Quincy. Unfortunately, he did not fill out the paperwork for his life insurance and was not currently active in the union so he does not have a death benefit either. My dad always said when it is my time to  go can you please make sure to bury me with the bagpipes playing and we plan to do that for him. Coming together to support the costs of what he truly wanted would mean everything to him. We appreciate anything you can contribute and thank you dearly. <3
