David "Wink" "WA8KOQ" Winkle - Final Expenses

My name is Jennifer and I am posting this on behalf of Janet, my amazing mother-in-law. The past two weeks have been a crushing blow to our family. On August 24th Janet and Dave (Amateur Radio Call Sign WA8KOQ for 58 years) lost their oldest son Brian, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. As a family they were processing the loss of a child, and were working through the process of funeral arrangements, and trying to honestly just figure life out. On September 8th Janet's world came crashing down. Her husband Dave had been suffering with some health problems, and the pain and stress of losing a child was too much on his heart and body. Dave passed away on September 8th from a heart attack. Our family was small to begin with and in two weeks we lost almost half of it. Casey (Janet's youngest son) and I are here with her, and we are trying to get everything in order in regard to services and making sure that Janet is taken care of, as the coming months are going to be extremely tough. As we've had several people ask how they can help we decided as a family that a GoFundMe was the best way to go. The limit set is truly a hopeful goal to help pay final expenses, and make sure that Janet is able to make ends meet the next couple of months as she figures out how to live life without her other half.
