David's Road to Recovery Fund

Donation protected
Some of you already know the story of what happened to David, but for those of you that don't David suffered a massive stroke on July 4, 2019.  He had 3 blood clots in his brain and a clogged artery in his neck.  He was air lifted to the hospital where he had emergency surgery.  The stroke has affected David's left side with paralysis in his left arm (which unfortunately he is left handed), left leg very week, and loss of vision in left eye.  We are not sure of the prognosis yet, but with a lot of rehabilitation, we are hoping that it does return somewhat.   David is in an inpatient intense rehabilitation center making a little progress, but doctors say he has a long way to go.  When he comes home, David will require 24/7 care until he can hopefully learn to be a little more independent.

We set up this GoFundMe page as a communication platform to ensure we keep all of David's wonderful friends and family up to date on his status and progress,  and also because many of you have been asking what you could do to help.   As you can imagine,  significant  expenses will incur during this process, so any donations towards David's  recovery are so greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, prayers and good wishes are just as important!

Our family thanks the many friends and family who have reached out to support David and I through this difficult time. The outpouring of love and encouragement has been overwhelmingly touching and instrumental in aiding David's battle to get as healthy as possible!
