Single Father Missing - Suspicious

Donation protected
My name is Shelly Reynolds. I am a school teacher who lives next to a lot of family. One family member is David Heisler. He is a 30-year-old man who has just won sole custody of his 6 year old daughter. Two weeks later he is missing from the home under suspicious circumstances.

David is a very caring young man who loves his family very much. Over the past couple of years David has had to go through a lot to protect his daughter and prove that the child should remain with him.  Just over 2 weeks ago he was granted full custody of her.

The next week, his mom and daughter went on a small vacation across the country to visit family and friends.  Sometime between 9:30 PM on Sunday June 26, 2016 and Monday at 2:30PM someone broke into their home. They took a few items, but most importantly they took DAVID. There was blood in the home and in garage. Police and the Private Investigators are working around the clock to help in finding him.  The community has came together to help with searching and handing out over 1,000 flyers. But still no evidence has came up.

Here is what the channel news 4 wrote:

SANTA CLARA, Utah (ABC4 Utah) A Santa Clara single father is missing and police say the circumstances around his disappearance are suspicious.

"You just don't leave and fall off the face of the earth," Christian Warmsley said, family spokesperson and private investigator.

David Heisler was awarded sole custody of his six-year-old daughter earlier this month. Now two weeks later, he's reported missing.

Police say the 30-year-old said goodnight to his father Sunday in the family home in a neighborhood off Lava Flow Drive. When his father returned from work the next day, he says his son's shoes, phone and wallet were there; Heisler and his car were not.

His father says he discovered blood splatter in the kitchen in garage. While the family didn't want to show our cameras, they say it's proof their son did not leave the house on his own.

"No father should see what he saw when he walked into the house," Warmsley said.

It has been almost a week. The police have been working around the clock to help find David. As more time passes, the more concern the family is becoming. Both Grandmother and Grandfather are trying to assure the little 6 year old that everyone is doing everything they can to bring Daddy home.

We are asking for support to help us find David. The Grandparents have had to get an attorney to make sure that the little girl stays safe in their home. The family has hired a private investigator to try to help them find David. The girl has already started to have meltdowns from missing her loving father and will be needing some more therapy. We don’t know the outcome, but we are also preparing for the worse - a funeral to plan. Every dollar will help. If you have a spare buck around or five, please pass it on to this family.

They are truly grateful for all the love and support that the community has shown them so far. Their story has been put on two news stations and in several area newspapers. There is a major search party being spearheaded by the police department this Sunday.

Thanks you so much for helping this family out. They have suffered so much over the last two years just trying to keep the little girl safe from a very ugly situation. Please help us find some peace for this little girl.
