David's battle against Bladder Cancer

Hi, my name is Tara Hanneman. Myself, my fellow coworkers, and friends are Establishing this GoFundMe for one of our long time employees and friend here at the Computer Store. David Swensrud was diagnosed with Stage 2 Bladder Cancer in November of 2022. David had a mass removed in the first month and unfortunately after starting Chemo he found out that the mass had returned. They continued Chemotherapy and at the end of his run he returned to Mayo to undergo surgery. Unfortunately, the test at Mayo has now shown that David's Cancer has spread and is now Stage 4.

David is very dedicated to his job here at The Computer Store, but trying times are making it harder for him as he is not feeling well and very tired. We know he is doing his very best to be here and take care of his longtime customers and friends but as he starts the next step in this journey (Radiation and Chemo at the same time) we know that he is going to be more fatigued and it will take a toll on his body. This is going to make it much harder for David to manage his everyday duties here at work and in his personal life. Please, if you are able to help David, no donation is to small, every little bit helps. This money will help with David's financial burden of medical bills, hotels, and flights back and forth to Mayo.
