David's Liver Giver

I learned early last year that I need a liver transplant. I also learned that I had neither the money nor the insurance sufficent to proceed. I applied to many programs but none covered my situation. This January I was able to enroll in a program that covers most of the expense. I have begun the process that will end with the restoration of health. Ever since I was able I was listed as an organ donor. I donated blood, platelets and plasma. I submitted genetic samples to join a bone marrow registry. I have donated time, possessions, and money to help friends and strangers. I rarely ask for help. I'm accustomed to helping. Right now I'm asking for help.
