David's Memory Lives On: Help Educate Allison

Oxford – David J. Mancini, 50, of Oxford and a longtime Worcester resident passed away at UMass Memorial Medical Center University Campus on June 11, 2024 after being stricken ill at home.
David is survived by his daughter; Allison Mancini of Auburn; his mother, Ann (Mullen) Jenkins of North Oxford; a sister, Megan Mancini Zawalich and her husband, Walter of Brimfield; a cousin, Kimberly Jermain and her husband, Chris of Dudley and an uncle, James Mullen of Charlton and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his two daughters, Mariah and Erica Mancini who both passed away in 2003; his grandmother Esther Mullen; his step-father, Jerome Jenkins and an aunt, Allison Mullen
Mr. Mancini was born in Worcester and graduated from South High Community High School. He worked for over 20 years with the United Parcel Service Company and belonged to the Teamster Local 170.
He was a skilled athlete and loved the game of baseball. He would often be found enthusiastically watching his Boston sports teams or taking in a good movie. David loved spending time with his family and will be missed.
Calling hours will be Monday, June 17 from 10 to 12 in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. A graveside service will immediately follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester where he will be laid to rest with his two daughters. You may still send flowers, but if you wish to only send one expression of sympathy, please consider contributing to his daughter Allison’s college education.
