Davies family rebuild after Harvey

The Davies family (Lesley, Denton and Millie) is humbly asking for any financial help that can be provided in helping to rebuild our home after hurricane Harvey. On Monday 8/28/17 the water raised from Hurricane Harvey started coming in the house, located in Northern Houston. Eventually it ended up being about 16-18" throughout the home. We live in an area that is designated as a 500 year flood plain, but always carried flood insurance. To our surprise, our flood insurance lapsed 21 days before Harvey struck.
What that means is that most of the rebuilding cost will be paid for by us. Early estimates are in the $40,000 -$60,000 range. We understand that contributing financially is not possible by a lot of our friends (starving artists) but prayers and happy thoughts headed our way are also needed. In the next few weeks we will have a need for swinging a hammer or slopping some paint. We would be greatful for help then as well. Hopefully with your help, we can try to get back to some sense of normalcy within a reasonable amount of time.
