Davis family head on Car wreck, Reserve Street

Hello, I'm Ryan Hall friend of the Davis family in Potomac MT. This account is to help raise money for Scott Davis and his family. August 21st Sunday, Scott was driving with his 11 year old son on reserve when a full sized pickup veered across 2 lanes and hit Scott head-on pushing him up onto the sidewalk. Several fire engines worked for over 30 minutes to get him extricated from his car. He was trapped and injured badly. That night Scott was flown by life flight to Spokane for leg and hip surgery. Scott is back in Missoula, and just recently had surgery on his left hand to repair it. The 11 year old son was kept overnight at a Missoula hospital and released the next day, he's doing fine now!

Scott suffered multiple fractures of his femur and hip, he also suffered multiple fractures of his wrist and hand. He has had two surgeries to date. Scott had a bad concussion also. He is still in a hospital bed and hasn't been released to rehabilitation/ physical therapy center. He'll have several weeks in rehabilitation /PT once he gets there.

The other driver crossed over two lanes hitting Scott and Little E. The accident is under investigation by Missoula Police Department.

The other driver is UNDERINSURED, he has the state allowed minimums and his insurance policy was maxed out by day 2 of Scott's hospital stay. The Davis family has insurance as well, it is unknown what will be covered by which insurance company.

This fund raiser is designed to help the Davis family with travel costs to and from the hospitals, medical bills, rehabilitation costs, loss of work, any improvements needed on their house to assist Scott's healing.

Scott is long time employee at Roseburg forest products. He is 42 years old, a hard worker, avid hunter, huckleberry hoarder, firewood hoarder, a great Father and Husband, he didn't deserve this!!
