Davis Family Lahaina fire recovery fund

On August 8 2023 hurricane Dora spread a wildfire in West Maui, which consumed our home, car, and all our possessions. With our two daughters, 2 years old and 10 weeks old, we are fortunate to have our safety and health. But the path ahead is difficult and unfortunately very expensive.

As the days go on, we're learning more and more about how the insurance claim process works. The timeline for recovery continues to increase and so in addition to helping us replace our possessions, these funds are going to support us over the next few years with paying our mortgage and living expenses, and eventually rebuilding our home while we work with our insurance provider to secure what is fair and needed. It's going to be a long haul and your support is enabling us to make ends meet!
