Davis-Emerson Middle School Teacher House Fire

Hello, my name is Kristie Kroeger and I'm the Bookkeeper at Davis-Emerson Middle School. I've never done a GoFundMe Fundraiser before, but I felt like this was the right thing to do during this difficult time. A stranger woke up one of our beloved teachers Sharene Abrams our 8th Grade Social Studies Teacher early Tuesday 02/20/2024 morning at 1:00 am because her house was on fire. By the grace of God, our teacher is alive and well. As you can see in the image, her house and car wasn't so fortunate. Please prayerfully consider making a donation to help one of our DEMS family members. This was her family home and many sentimental items were destroyed in the fire. Currently, she is sifting through the ash and debris hoping to save as much as possible. Teacher salaries come once per month and payroll doesn't post until the end of each month. Any amount donated will be transferred directly to the teachers bank account, so she can buy breakfast, lunch and dinner once her appetite comes back. Also, she will need the basic essential items once she finds a place to lay her head. One day she will tell her story and give her testimony of how God spared her life and allowed her to live another day.
