Davy's back

Hello, my name is Davy Strange, thank you for taking the time to read my story. I have a serious problem with my back, and I would like to ask for your help to get it fixed.

Since I had surgery on my back, I have suffered from Failed Back Surgery Syndrome. I experience intolerable pain in my back, pelvis and legs – as bad as the pancreatitis I had. My quality of life is abysmal due to this, and my writing output has stalled. It has also caused my legs to become paralysed at times, meaning I collapse and cannot get up. I dread this happening when I am crossing the road.

If you donate you will help me get a Spinal Cord Stimulator which would help undo the damage. Unfortunately, these devices are extremely expensive and the cost of one, plus surgery and physiotherapy, is beyond my reach as a disabled person. Given the state of the NHS, this treatment is beyond them too! They do not do it in my area.
