Dawn Evans Medical Fund

A hero is defined as someone who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements or noble qualities.  Dawn Evans is a hero on so many levels.

Dawn recently retired from her career as an indispensable member of the Star-Telegram team.  Within months of retirement, she was diagnosed with AML/Acute Myeloid Leukemia – a rare form of cancer diagnosed in less than 20,000 cases per year.
Dawn is undergoing aggressive treatment in Bedford where she is receiving chemo and will follow with a bone marrow transplant (if necessary).  She has expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of love from those who are aware of her journey.
So many have asked, “What can we do to help?”  In addition to continuing to pray for her healing, let’s show the Evans family our support by contributing money to aid with their mounting medical expenses.
