Dawn Hartman Grauer was 56 when she passed away on March 12, 2019. She suffered from numerous health issues and passed away before her time leaving two young sons behind, Zachary and Lyndon Jr.
Due to the multitude of medical bills, Dawn could not leave enough money to simply be buried so the funeral home has cremated her.
A little history, Dawn was born in Omaha Nebraska and moved to Boulder as a young child where she lived most of her life. Dawn was an amazing person. She was a friend, a co-worker, an athlete, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a fantastic mother to the two boys. Ask anyone who knew her and they will tell you she was full of personality, strong-minded, loving, passionate and caring. She was a fighter for all that was good and right!
The last few years of Dawn's life were very difficult. She lost her husband in May of 2018 due to an accident and then suffered from mental health issues and substance abuse trying to hold it together after his death. Because of this, she alienated many of her close friends and the family and so, this has created further complications for the children including simply raising the money to be able to pay for her final expenses. At Dawn's death, her two boys were all she had left.
For Dawn's last 2 years of life her younger son was her caregiver and this put him in a position to suffer in school and in social life. The boys are suffering as they simply haven't been able to say goodbye yet and they need her ashes to move on and grow in a positive way.
Dawns ashes are still at the mortuary following cremation and the boys need your help raising the small amount of money needed to pay the funeral home for her ashes. There are no additional costs included, no urns, no fancy boxes, no extras at all. The amount listed is exactly what we need to get the ashes released from the funeral home. Please consider donating a small amount of money to help the children with this final expense so they can let their mom go. Ten dollars helps. Five dollars helps. No amount is too small. Anything at all is appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity and support.
Kindest Regards,
