Dawn Kolb, Celebration of Life

Hello Fellow Brats and Friends of Dawn,

It is with great disbelief that I am sharing the devastating news of the passing of our dear friend, Dawn Kolb.

Those who grew up within a few class years of Dawn, know her for her bubbly disposition, her tie-dye(!) and her athleticism, mastering every sport she played. As adults, we all know Dawn as the face of our Brat Family, our reunion coordinator, and social butterfly. She affectionately rooted for each of us, and lived to connect with all of us. Her Brat tribe is her family, and her passing leaves a massive hole.

Dawn suffered a stroke in December, and while under the care of her physician, some serious underlying conditions came to light. In just a few short months, she quickly succumbed to her ailments.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Sylvia's Enchilada Kitchen, 6401 Woodway Dr, Houston on Saturday, April 13. 1-4pm. Your RSVP, including total party size, is requested by April 5. RSVPs may be emailed to me through this GFM.

Dawn's final wishes include friends gathering to celebrate her life while sharing stories of the good ole days. She requested to be cremated and have her ashes sprinkled back in Saudi where she felt most at home. Unfortunately, funds were not set aside for these final acts. Honoring Dawn's wishes is of the utmost importance to me, but I need your help to make all of this possible. All raised monies will be applied to food & venue costs for her Celebration of Life, the cremation & associated fees, and travel to Dhahran. Thank you for your love and support of our dear Dawn.
