In Memoriam - Dawn Norton Williams

Hello all, my name is Jimmy Cotty with the Georgia Manufactured Housing Association in Forsyth, Georgia. Dawn was my Assistant Director at GMHA and she has been such a joy to work with the last few years.

Unfortunately Dawn suffered a blood clot in her lung that sent her to the emergency room on Monday, December 4th. Over the course of the week while treating the clot she suffered complications that left her permanently incapacitated. Sadly, her family was faced with the difficult decision to discontinue care and Dawn peacefully passed over to meet her Lord on December 11, 2023. We mourn for her family and friends.

Dawn was born in Conyers, Georgia on April 14, 1965. She would call Nashville, Georgia home before ultimately settling in Forsyth to be close to her mother and numerous friends. She has two children, Steven and Hannah who both live in Forsyth as well.

She loved to hang out with her kids and friends, helping others, and making folks happy. And of course we cannot refrain from mentioning caring for her beloved cats!

Her giving spirit cannot be overlooked as even in death, her organs were donated so that others may continue in life.

Professionally she began working at the Georgia Manufactured Housing Association in 2018 where she dutifully served the MH industry and rose to the position of Assistant Director. Dawn considered the industry and those she worked with as an extended family, and she naturally was loved and respected by all. She was always very grateful and appreciative for these friendships.

GMHA has launched this fundraising campaign with the approval of our Board of Directors in order to help provide Dawn's family with some comfort and peace of mind as they consider her final arrangements and/or any outstanding financial obligations. We humbly ask that you consider your wherewithal to give and contribute accordingly. Donations will be managed by GMHA and dispersed with the Board's approval to cover various costs in conjunction with Dawn's passing.

Any plans for a celebration of Dawn's life will be provided as they become known.

Dawn, you were loved by many and will be missed by more. You, your family, and friends will remain in our prayers.
