Life of Dawn Roman and support for Simon

***Update: Thank you SO much to everyone who has donated so far. Hoping to have time and details on memorial/celebration of life posted by the end of the week. People are coming from all over the country and even Australia to celebrate Dawns life. To be clear in case there was confusion, the majority of money raised is going to Simon to get moved and adjusted to a new place this summer. Only a small portion is going towards the memorial service.

Hi, it’s Emily A. a friend of Dawn for 18 years. On April 14th Dawn passed away after a sudden diagnosis of cancer. She passed in less than a month of diagnosis leaving no time for planning. I am asking on behalf of Dawn, her sister, Dee and her son, Simon for donations to have a memorial service to celebrate Dawns life and to help Simon get through the next few months at his current residence until his Aunt Dee comes back to Ohio for the summer to help him move to a place for him based on one income. Simon has lived with Dawn is whole life and Dawn took care of the bills. The last lucid conversation Dawn and I had was her first week in the hospital discussing Simon and how he would manage while she was hospitalized, not knowing she would not return home.

If Dawn ever impacted your life in recovery, with a haircut, her friendship, service work, a good time at Pensic, her ability to make the mundane interesting or touched your life in any other way I am asking for your support to help Simon get through the next few months and for the memorial service (which I will update as soon as funds are raised)
