Dawn Victor-Beviano
Donation protected
The moment that we have all been dreading is upon us. Dawn has passed over to the next chapter of her journey.
In death, as in every day of her life, Dawn had planned to give back to those in need. Her husband Todd, daughters Tina and Jackie, and a small group of her people, accompanied Dawn on her “Honor Walk” from the CCU to a place that afforded her the opportunity to give back one last time. Dawn wanted to give the gift of life with organ donation, which should come as a surprise to no one who knew her.
Also no surprise was how big and strong her heart was because when she was removed from life support, her heart just was not ready to let go.
Everyone was praying for a miracle, but it was not to be. Our beautiful, kind, giving, funny, boisterous Dawn left us earlier today.
After years of taking care of Linden, her family, her friends, her church, the library, and also complete strangers, the opportunity to give back can come in many forms. A “Meal Train” has also been started for those who wish to provide a measure of comfort to the family during this difficult time.
Another way to honor Dawn would be to simply give of yourself to others. Help someone in need. Give of your time; of your energy. Be happy and let it be contagious. In times of anger or frustration, rise above the fray and make someone smile. Do good. Be good. Shine a light where there is darkness because the world is a darker place without the light that emanated from her.
Dawn was many things to many people, but the one thing she will be from this day forward is missed.
Rest in Peace our Dear Friend
