Dawn’s Cause

To all of our friends, family, and loved ones......Dawn and I have set aside our pride and decided to ask for help.  We have spent our lives helping others in times of need, but unfortunately we have fallen into the position of need.
     Dawn was recently diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma.  This is an aggressive rare liver cancer.  Current test are still in the process to determine stage and grade, but the oncologist surgeons believe she is in stage 3.  Dawn has been ill for the past 5 months without a diagnosis until recently. Due to me missing time from work, I was recently relieved of my duties and our health insurance has been deactivated as of 12am August 1, 2019. We are applying for Cobra, but I think everyone knows the cost (about $1380/month).  We are roughly $88,000 in medical bills as of August 1st, 2019.  This is not adding in the oncologist, oncologist surgeon, and possible treatment options.

     For any and everyone that knows Dawn, she is has spent her entire life helping everyone around her.  Whether it be financially, spiritually, or just a loving ear and heart with kind words of care.  She is an 18yr Paramedic and spent many years working on an ambulance because of the joy she received helping others.  We have exhausted all of our funds and hope everyone can find it in your hearts to help.  $1, $5, or even $10 would help.  Every little bit adds up and would be appreciated far more than you could ever expect.
