Dawn's Uganda Africa Sole Hope 2017

To my family in Christ, friends, and relatives Please take a few minutes to watch and allow God to move within you.

For those who don't know me my name is Dawn Brock. Hello, I have been blessed by being one of 20 people selected for this opportunity to go to Uganda Africa with the Young Living Foundation for the 2017 mission trip to assist, share, and show love to these individuals.

Those who do know me, also knows this has been a life long desire and prayer for me, a chance to aid in some way, big or small outside of my existing blessed life.

Two and half years ago I suffered from severe inflammation and joint pain making walking and getting out of bed difficult.
I learned about YL essential oils as an natural alternative to synthetic and chemical based medicine through my daughter. (she's always seeking the best for me and her family).  After researching and actually visiting first hand one of the many farms of YL, I was convinced that YL was my choice in essential oils.  Little did I know that not only did this company strive to provide the purest form of essential oils they also had a heart that was in sync with mine. This I wanted to be part of it.   

YL works in partnership with Sole Hope, an organization that provides a desperately needed service to people who have been affected by jiggers. This parasite effects the lives of thousands daily, causing debilitating pain, embarrassment and shame as people with jiggers are kicked out of their communities because of lack of information in what causes the physical deformities.  (To learn more about their organization check out their website www.solehope.org and follow them on Instagram @solehope).  We will also be working in the slums, hanging mosquito nets and sharing all the love in our hearts!

I am truly blessed to have this opportunity and honored that you would consider partnering your heart with mine and my daughter's ( yes, that was also my prayer, for her to join me as we deepen our loving relationship) to change a life of someone whom only a pair of shoes made from denim makes a difference.

I need to raise $4,500. by 7/1/17. This money will cover all of the expenses associated with my travel to and from Africa. Any additional funds will be donated directly to Sole Hope for much needed supplies.  I am also hosting a shoe cutting party at my work place 4/24-25, 5/1-2 (Zaxbys) in order to cut and ship additional shoes and supplies.  If you would like to join us or host a shoe cutting party of your own in your town just contact me for more information.
