Dax Bakken - Ironman Wisconsin

For Kristin Keir who lost her life partner, the love of her life Dax Bakken on September 10th.

Dax (51) died competing in IRONMAN Wisconsin Triathlon. Dax had trained and dreamed of completing the IRONMAN. He had completed the swim and was well into the bike portion of the competition.

Dax was a Military Veteran having served in Desert Storm. Kristin and Dax have an 8 year old daughter, Maeve. Dax also has two sons Finn and Liam.

Dax had just completed his Masters Degree and was the primary support for his family. Kristin is employed part time as a hospice nurse. Dax’s tragic death has left his family devastated. The family greatly appreciates any monetary gifts to help defray expenses incurred for Kristin and Maeve, including Maeve’s education…and any love and prayers.’
