Creating Daycare for Community

Please help me establish a home-based, community-focused daycare center designed to service and support low-income families in San Francisco, California USA.
I have studied child development and I am certified in infant and toddler care. Moreover, I have been working as a nanny with children of various ages for almost 9 years. I have a clear-eyed, well-defined dream of starting my own daycare center to assist in raising happy, healthy and emotionally supported children in the community where I now live.
This intense and powerful calling within me is inspired by friends and acquaintances from my everyday life who cannot afford childcare; whose children get shuffled from available friends to resentful family members, inhibiting any consistent support for their children’s emotional development and welfare. The inevitable parental distress and desperation has motivated me to put into professional practice instincts that to me already come as second nature.
I am determined to create a safe and caring environment for young kids as a childcare provider. My goal is to open Play&Learn Daycare by May 2017.
The fund will be used for rental space, daycare license, toys, educational items, playground equipment, furniture, liability and property insurance, and miscellaneous items.
