Dayton Community Cat Project
Hello, Cat Lovers! We are excited to launch the Dayton Community Cat Project: a life-enhancing, live-saving 501(c)(3) created to provide food, resources, and supplies to the cats born to and abandoned on the streets of Dayton, Ohio and to the committed caregivers that feed and care for them.
While difficult to grasp, Dayton is home to tens of thousands of community cats: "cats that are un-owned that live outdoors and may be feral or friendly, may have been born into the wild, or may be lost or abandoned pets" (animalhumanesociety.org).
Update! Upon rolling out this fundraiser, we weren't sure what to expect and, since then, have been touched by the generosity of fellow cat lovers. As a result, we have elevated our fund-raising goal to $2,500. Please know, 100% of net proceeds from this event will go towards feeding the kitties on the streets of Dayton. Thank you for your donation and for helping to facilitate this important endeavor!
