Great North Run 2022
I’m running the Great North Run on the 11th of September this year raising money for Children’s Cancer North.
As most of you will already know I was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2006 and had treatment until 2010. So I thought, what better charity to choose as a child, with cancer, from the north!
I’ve attached a picture of me during treatment above. I’m pretty unrecognisable I must say. But the fashion sense hasn’t changed one bit!
Time to get running I think. Here’s some more information about the charity below.
More information about Children's Cancer North: We are dedicated to making life better for children with cancer. 100 children from the North East and Cumbria are diagnosed with cancer every year and we are here to help make their journey a little easier. We also fund revolutionary research to find more effective and less toxic treatments, helping children with cancer everywhere.
