Please Help Support Chloe’s Fight Against Cancer

I'm reaching out to our community of family, friends and pet parents for support during this devastating time.
Our sweet girl Chloe had a tumor removed in January of this year. Chloe had a full recovery after surgery, a biopsy of the tumor was done identifying it to be a high grade & malignant Mast Cell Tumor. 3 weeks after surgery more mast cell tumors returned, it had also spread to a near by lymph node, this was confirmed with a fine needle aspiration.
Our world has shifted dramatically, and almost overnight, as we face every pet parent’s worse nightmare: Chloe has been diagnosed with a serious form of cancer requiring immediate treatment.
We are determined to support our girl in any way we can to help her fight this. Our journey has now entered an even more challenging part, as we have maxed out the pet insurance coverage for this condition and have been informed of no coverage for the additional, and alternative treatments we are looking to pursue.
After extensive research, and due to Chloe's age and size we have decided on a naturopathic and holistic treatment vs. conventional cancer treatments such as radiation and chemotherapy for a few reasons:
- quality of life and comfort (at almost 13 years old and weighing only 10lbs., radiation and chemotherapy would be extreme for Chloe's physical and mental state);
- type of cancer: Mast Cell Tumors (made up of mast cells: which are immune cells found in tissues throughout the body, and play a crucial role in the bodies response to allergies and inflammation). The right treatment can help manage the inflammation and lower the high histamine levels in her body, strengthen her immune system, alleviate the symptoms & discomfort, and prevent the current tumors from growing more or spreading to other parts of her body
We are now patients at the Toronto Integrative Animal Health for guide and have started with Chloe's treatment plan.
We are reaching out to our community for support in funding Chloe’s medical treatment. Your contribution, in any amount, will bring us closer to our goal of providing her with significant relief and extending her precious life.
Chloe joined our family at 12 weeks of age, and since then has only brought joy, light and unconditional love to our lives. My emotional support since I was 26yrs old, and a sister to the kids since they were 4 & 9 (now 16 & 21) - we will do whatever it takes for her to continue to be by our side for many years to come.
