DCA attend the Cheerleading championships 2024

DCA has received a partial paid bid to the most prestigious competition currently in cheerleading in FLORIDA in April 2024 . We are sooooo excited and REALLY want to go! Can you help our young athletes reach their dream

DCA celebrated 11 years in Jan 2023 and what a way to celebrate just over a decade of dance and cheerleading with this prestigious award.

Our Senior Level 1 cheer team recently beat over 100 other teams from across the country and not only won first place but also a partial ‘bid’ to compete at the Allstar Worlds Cheerleading competition in Orlando.

The team of girls, aged between 12 and 18 years old, are obviously very excited and are ready for the hard work this kind of once in a lifetime opportunity brings. This is their dream and so we’re asking for YOUR HELP to make this DREAM come true!

With the age of the team, they’re very limited on what they can do to ‘earn’ the amount of money required to fund a trip like this. Although winning the bid gains us entry to the competition, we still have a huge amount to pay for.

The costs will help towards not just the entry fee to the competition but the cost of music licenses for the competition, training in the USA, Licenses for staff, Entry Fees to competitions as well as general experiences whilst in Florida . Our aim is £4000 to cover the above.

We appreciate it’s a big ask but it would mean so much to the girls to know they have the support of their family, friends and local communities. They’ll be up against the best so it’ll be an experience they’ll never forget - we want to show them that their hard work and dedication this season has paid off by making this a reality and that the sky’s the limit so keep aiming high!
