Marine Combat Veteran In Need

Donation protected
My husband is my best friend, the love of my life, the strongest and the most incredible individual I have ever met. He joined the Marines when he was 17, he was inspired to join for many reasons. A couple being his grandfather who is also a Marine veteran, and after witnessing what happened on 9/11/2001.

During his time overseas I recieved many phone calls to let me know he was ok, some of which included bombs and gunshots in the background, I think he just wanted to know that I was worrying about him. Then I recieved the call I was dreading... He was
injured again in Afghanistan and sitting in Germany.

He sustained many injuries while overseas but by far the most life changing one is a dibilitating ankle injury. He has had 4 reconstructive surgeries and has been in cronic pain for the past 7 years. After many many doctors appointments trying to find a solution that would allow him better mobility and to live a pain free life, doctors have decided that amputation is the best solution.

Although his surgery, hospital stay, and follow up appointments are covered with the VA there is a lot that is left up to us to cover. We are asking for help during this difficult life transision to pay for gas to and from appointments, and to supplement income that will be lost during this time, as I will have to take time off of work to care for him during his initial healing period. Please help the most important person in the world to me have the smoothest recovery period he can possibly have.

His surgery is scheduled on May 5th, 2017, but because of his overall health, could be bumped anytime after April 5th.  Though the money will always help during this stressful and life changing time, he would also like prayers and positive thoughts.

Incase you havent had the pleasure of meeting him or getting the chance to know him let me just tell you a little bit about my husband...
Once you meet him you'll never forget him.
He will do anything for his friends and family.
If he doesnt have an answer for you he will find it.
He has an large and caring heart.
He is incredibly smart, he just puts on a good show.
