Dorchester County Deputy Flood Fund
Donation protected
Hey everyone,
I am a former Deputy Sheriff with Dorchester County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina. I spent two years with the department and the men and woman I worked with I consider family. It is come to my attention that the Sheriff's Office was offered hazard pay for those men and women who risked their lives during the recent flooding. Upon receiving that offer it was turned down by the sheriff. I am not here to analyze, question, or ridicule this decision. However, the other agencies within the county accepted the funds, which they rightfully deserve plus more in my opinion. I believe the employees of the sheriff's office deserve it also. One of the reasons why I am no longer a deputy stems from exactly that, these deputies deserve to not struggle paying bills, paying for individual needs, or their children's needs but on their salary it's not a reality. Therefore my request is simple, anyone who can afford to donate please help me raise money for those deputies that worked during the flood. Those who cannot I understand, those deputies will also take prayers you send their way and prayers for this cause. The money will be evenly dispersed to deputies who worked during the flood. I thank you in advance for your love and support, and I can speak on behalf of all law enforcement on that note! God Bless. Dorchester Deputies not receiving hazard pay for flooding article
