Kaleigh's STEM Camp Fund
Donation protected
Kaleigh has always been a smart kiddo and her teacher this year nominated her her for the STEM Camp at Loyola Univeristy in June.
In order for Kaleigh to go we need to raise the funds as it is a pretty expensive event. If any of you know Kaleigh you know how much she loves Science, Technology, Engenering and Mathematics.
Below is a statement from Kaleigh that she wrote:
My name is Kaleigh and what I would love most to do when I grow up is to be an Author. I have been inspired by many books, friends, and family.
I have written several books that I believe will be best sellers when I grow up. My favorite is a kids series about animals that include morals such as how to embrace change and accept who you are.
The latest book I have been working on is about a summer day. I came up with it as I sat on the swing this summer. I was imagining the woodchips below me, the humidity in the air, refreshing warm air blowing up against my face and through my hair. Oh summer! The greatest season of them all!!
This summer I am really looking forward to STEM camp. I will get to build a robot, dissect a cow heart and learn many other science things. I believe this will help me with a bright future with my grades and college. I would love to take part in this great opportunity and appreciate all you can do to help me get there!!
