Trek to Everest Base Camp

Hello Friends and Family,

My passion for adventure and exploration has taken me a bit farther than the White Mountains this time... I am excited to announce that this May I will be participating in an eleven day trek to the base camp of Everest! 

As part of this trek, I will be raising money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mass Bay, and any donation will help make an impact. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay (BBBSMB) partners with under-resourced families to provide their children with transformational, one-on-one professionally-supported relationships with caring adult mentors, so that these children will have a chance to thrive. 

As my time in college nears to an end, I can't help but reflect on my early years of life and all the ups and downs I have managed to navigate. I wouldn't have been able to do it alone and I am so thankful to have so many wonderful mentors in my life. Those special people have taught me to be a better person in and for this world and fill my life with inspiration every day. 

Furthermore, I have had the pleasure of spending five summers counseling children. I have personally seen how kindness, patience and wisdom can completely alter a child's attitude and motivation. It did for me and  recognize the importance that no child takes on the challenges of life without a guide.  Under-priveleged children in the Boston area have fewer advantages and greater obsatcles without such programs.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.
