Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Lesley, over the last few weeks my daughter in law found a lump in her breast at her 6 week post natal check.

She was sent to have a fine needle aspiration done and the results came back that she had a malignant carcinoma.. she then had to undergo a urgent mammogram and core biopsy. The results came back and she had her appt to see an Oncologist.

Today she received the devastating news that she has TNBC (triple negative breast cancer) which is an aggressive breast cancer. She was told that she will need 12 months of chemotherapy and radiation therapy before having a double mastectomy and reconstruction.. As you can understand this 12 months is going ro be financially hard for Katie and Luke, as she will be unable to work and Luke will need to take time off work to take her to treatments, all while trying to support their little man Levi..

Any help would be greatly appreciated to this little family...
