Get The Oz Family to PowerCon 2023

We are trying to raise funds to get Oz a small ToyTuber on youtube to PowerCon this year.

Oz AKA Ozstradamus Toyz is a small content creator on YouTube sharing his love of action figures and 80s Pop culture with the toy collector community.

Earlier this year Oz purchased tickets to Power-Con Hoping to meet with fellow content creators, and spend time with his family on a trip to the Mecca of Masters of the Universe fans. Oz’s son in particular loves MOTU Origins figures so this was a very special trip for the two of them. Only to discover that the trip would cost him more in travel, accommodations, and food than his monthly budget would allow.

So Oz made the decision for the sake of his family to cancel the Power-Con trip.

After hearing this I was heartbroken, not being able to meet Oz was one thing, but to hear that his family would be missing out on a much needed vacation was unbearable.

I reached out to Oz and asked if I could help, but typical Oz he was thinking that he didn’t want to inconvenience me or anyone else, which just made me want to help even more!

So I reached out to some of Oz’s friends who as it turns out wanted to do the exact same thing and help Oz and his family get to Power-Con!

So I’m now turning to GoFundMe and asking for the help of the Toy Collecting Community to help #getoztopowercon

We’re trying to raise at least $2000 so Oz and his family can have money to travel to Power-Con in Columbus Ohio, acquire lodging for the weekend, and enough to get meals for the trip and back!

As a small insight Oz recently started a new job, and making ends meet has been hard on him and the family all around. This trip was supposed to be a retreat and break from all of that, and give Oz a much needed boost to keep going for the rest of the year.

To his friends, Oz is the most generous, helpful, outstanding, friend you will ever meet. His willingness to help people whom he just met is incredible and will renew your faith in humanity. Oz is the first to volunteer, and the last to give up and it's why all of us in this community look up to him and want him to succeed.
