Help Joshua Heal

Many of you know Joshua to be a shining ray of light and source of genuine joy. His music and artistic fingerprint on the world have blessed thousands in his projects with Humming House and as a distinguished American Musical Ambassador and we need him here to continue making magic on this earth.
Joshua was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (stage 4 brain cancer) on September 28, 2019 two days after his birthday and given a grim prognosis of roughly two years. Compared to other cancers, the 5-year survival rate for GBM is less than 3%. He had a resection a month later to remove a tumor and attached cyst the size of an orange from his left frontal lobe, about one and a half inches above his eyebrow. He did six weeks of radiation with chemotherapy (Temodar) and six additional months of chemo.
Since then, he has not pursued any subsequent standard-of-care therapies due to his white blood cell count being too low. Instead, he has been relying solely on Vitamin C and Mistletoe IVs, in addition to Rick Simpson's FSO protocol, vegan and ketogenic nutrition, fasting, supplementation, meditation, breathwork, somatic experiencing therapy and exercise.
Sadly, he had a recurrence in the same location in February 2023 and received a laser treatment called LITT (Laser Integrated Thermal Therapy) which melted the visible tumor activity. As this is one of the most rapidly proliferating cancers, he has been experiencing intense pain and pressure around his head and neck, accompanied by ocular migraines, and the most recent MRI showed aggressive tumor expansion lower down behind his left eye. Due to the complexity of this operation, they won’t be able to get it all and will require him to stay awake through the procedure to make sure they do not impair his speech and language capabilities in Broca's area. Unfortunately, his symptoms will not be relieved until he can have this surgery.
Happily, he has reconnected with his surgeon in Michigan and have agreed to do the operation together, but their next open surgery date is not yet known. In the meantime, Joshua is relying on alternative naturopathic treatments which insurance does not cover, such as Chelation Therapy due to toxic heavy metal overload, additional Vitamin C and Glutathione IVs, Kambo, Supportive Oligonucleotide Therapy, Ozone Therapy, repurposed cancer drugs, supplements, and acupuncture for pain. Since he has been immunocompromised and lost his profession as a touring artist when the pandemic hit, it has been difficult to sustain a sufficient income.
Joshua is recommended to have three IV therapies per week and to use the other options as much as he is able (daily ideally). The average cost of each of these visits is about $120. As many of you know, the price of these treatments is exorbitant and many of the services are inaccessible since they are not considered the gold standard for cancer care in the US (although they are the first line of treatment in many first-world countries like Germany). For more information on the benefit of these therapies, you can consult the Cancer Center for Healing’s website: https://cancercenterforhealing.com/treatments/
For example, “Mistletoe boosts the immune system by multiplying and activating the immune cells and can induce apoptosis – the process of natural cell death – which can inhibit tumor growth. Mistletoe extract protects the DNA of immune cells and other healthy cells against damage caused by cytostatic drugs. As a result, the side effects of chemotherapy can be reduced. Mistletoe therapy results in significant improvements in patients’ quality of life: the patients’ general well-being improves, as the immune system remains active and infections are prevented. Fatigue, particularly during and after chemotherapy, is less severe, and nausea during chemotherapy is reduced.”
In addition to these costs, he will need support paying his rent, buying a used car, and affording gas and airfare to travel to all of these destinations in San Diego, Irvine, Mexico and Detroit. A cancer patient deserves to rest and focus on his healing, not to work around the clock to advocate for his care and worry about how he will pay for his next meal, much less life-saving treatments.
Any small amount will go a long way. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your consideration and prayers!
P.S. Of course no donations are expected, we just really appreciate your love, hugs, and tokens of support however tiny and impactful! We love you.
