Art joined Xcenda on June 23, 2011. He served on the BMS, Otsuka and the JBI Immunology Field Teams. He made significant contributions to demonstrating field teams’ value through data analytics and served as an effective coach and mentor to the Associates reporting to him as well as others. Art is missed tremendously. His humor, intelligence, sharing of historical and trivial facts, and analytical mind and work are just a few of his contributions that helped us excel as a team and kept us laughing, learning and sometimes wondering. Art loved his family, enjoyed mission work, rescuing English Setter dogs, and overall just enjoyed helping others. Laurel, Art’s wife made a point to say “Art loved his job and the people he worked with.”
Art valued his family and education. He left six (6) amazing children behind along with his wife Laurel. In honor of Art’s memory we have a give back campaign to contribute to the De Boer Family Education Fund. You may dress down for 1, 2 or 3 days of the Summit by making an online contribution to the De Boer Family Education Fund. By contributing a minimum of $10 per day or $25 for 3 days, you will be able to dress down to casual (jeans, capris, khakis, tennis shoes or sandals are acceptable if you are eligible to dress down). No flip flops, shorts, or t-shirts/jerseys are permitted to be worn during the meeting sessions.
