Bring USMC IDD Dog "Jjoe" HOME
Donation protected
My husband Robert, a two tour retired Marine has opportunity to adopt his USMC IDD Dog Jjoe. The issue is cost of transportation to obtain Jjoe (a black lab) and the very short timeline (2 weeks) we have to get him. Robert and Jjoe served in Afghanistan detecting explosives and patrolling from February 2011 through October 2011. Robert now lives in Texas and Jjoe will be stepping down as IDD dog in North Carolina after 4 long years of service in Afghanistan. The cost includes; air transportation round trip, shipping container, rental car and possible overnight stay in North Carolina to acquire Jjoe.
Please help to bring this very deserving retiring USMC IDD canine home to his forever family; to be in a loving home that he has earned. It has been two and a half years in the making! Thank you in advance for any financial assistance you can provide.
