Honor Ed Papendick: Funeral and Family Support
Donation protected
When he walked into a room, Edward T. Papendick was the kind of man who could be the smartest, funniest, and loudest person there. He was always the one to fix the problems that no one else could. He was a devoted brother, friend, father, and son. Most of all, Edward was a man of his word.
On December 8, 2021, Ed experienced a severe stroke that completely altered his life. Since then, the severity of his stroke has led to a significant deterioration in his mental health over the past two years, as well as a flare-up of his diabetes that has caused significant nerve damage in both of his feet, making it impossible for him to walk and move as he once did. Ed saw several doctors for his problems, but along the process, all of them rejected him, saying that they couldn't help him because he was obese, had neuropathy, and needed help for his diabetes.
With all of these events taking place, on November 9, 2024, Ed made an attempt on his life resulting in him being in critical care, leaving his children devastated and forced to make life-altering decisions on his behalf. Due to his critical condition, his children have chosen to place him on comfort care where he will be able to pass peacefully in the following days. Please help us raise money to give him a proper memorial and final farewell during this painful time. All donations will go to Hailey and Kyle Papendick, his daughter and son. The donations will go to the cost of funeral arrangements and end of life expenses. Any remaining funds will go to the assistance of finding housing for his children, as they are now left with nowhere to go.
