Deadly Tornado Recovery - Neal Family
Donation protected
On March 2, 2020 the Middle Tennessee area was hit with a deadly tornado with at least 24 fatalities and many still unaccounted for.
The Neal Family was fortunate to be among the living after their home in Cookeville, TN was hit head on by the tornado. Their teenage daughter, Ella Jane, was ripped from her bed and landed in a neighboring pool where she was found covered in debris. The mother, Lauren, and her partner, Brandon, also survived with minor injuries after being ripped from the home. The teenage son, Colin, fortunately was away for the evening. Sadly, the family dog, Jack, suffered severe injury and had to be put to sleep.
While they are fortunate to be alive, they lost all of their belongings, their home was completely demolished, their cars are totaled and the road to recovery will be long.
This is an effort by their extended family to provide them with immediate funds so they may begin to recover from this physically, emotionally and financially traumatic event. The amount is nowhere near what it will take to get fully back on their feet, however we hope it will give them enough to begin moving towards complete healing and recovery. And let them know they are surrounded in love, support and resources from communities near and far.
Every dollar adds up and we hope this will reach far & wide for these resilient humans!
