Deaf Artist, Vergena K Chee Galladaudet University
Donation protected
This is my deaf daughter, Vergena K Chee. She will be graduating from Gallaudet University in Washington DC. Degree candidate for Native American History Class of 2024.
She is Tsénaabiłnii (Sleeping Rock), born for Kinyaa’áanii (Towering House), her Cheii are Haltsooi (Meadow People) and her Nali is Tachiinii (Red Into Water People).
She is Ramah Navajo from Pine Hill, New Mexico.
She accomplished in her goal despite being deaf and became is an inspiring artist cultured in Native American Studies. Her academics founded in Native American History solidified her ability to lean on her Navajo Teachings to excel in her area of interest.
We are raising money to be with her as she graduates from her university with me, her mother, Jeanette Coho and her father, Gene Chee and her siblings to witness her biggest milestone. We are humbling asking for monetary donations to cover our travel cost of fuel, meals and lodging.
We appreciate and thank you. Ahe’hee in our language.
