Deaflympics 2022 Brazil

 

 

Dear Family and Friends,

I wanted to share exciting news with you about the summer Deaflympics. I was recently selected to represent USA on the Women’s Golf Team (individual) at the 2022 Deaflympics held in Caxias Do Sul, Brazil in May. What an honor it will be to represent USA while competing against other deaf golfers from around the world!

10 years ago, I found a new passion for the sport of golf while living in Minnesota. I have been working hard to improve my game while competing in local leagues and tournaments. Last month I had the privilege to play a pro-am event with LPGA golfer, Brianna Do!

The USA Deaf Sports Federation requires all athletes to help fundraise to offset the costs associated with this two-week event including opening and closing ceremonies. My individual goal is $4,500 which helps to cover travel, flights, hotel, food, and USA Deaflympics uniforms in Federation.
