Hello everyone near and far,
This is a campaign is designed to assist one of the world's greatest men. I have known my dear friend Dean Devito (aka Dean Bell) for over 20 years. He is by far one of my favorite people in the world and I am sure many others feel the same way. He is a loving husband, father of two, stepfather of three, and grandfather of four (with a fifth on the way) and don't forget Dory. He is a beloved friend to many. He is a man who always makes you smile and is the life of the party no matter where he goes.
His love for life, family and friends will surely energize him through his journey, and we are grateful. He will need love and support throughout this chapter in his young life (which I know he will have) but he will also need assistance in other ways. Please see his story below:
Four weeks ago Dean was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) which is a pre-stage of leukemia. His blood cannot produce proper platelets and red blood cells, which is fatal. He needs to undergo chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant for treatment. Dean is never the guy to fall ill and his diagnosis was a shock to all of his friends and family. He has an 100% commission based job and will be out of work for roughly a year. His devoted wife, Linda, will be by his side during the bone morrow transplant, which will take her out of work for roughly a month, as well. We created this account to help raise money for his medical expenses so he can get the best treatment possible for a speedy recovery. Also to help offset his loss of income that his family depends upon. All donations are greatly appreciated whether they are big or small. Anything helps!
