Ease the burden as cancer takes its toll

The reason for this fundraiser is to help my brother and his family. Yes, he is the cool looking one with the sunnies in the photo with me.
Mid last year at age 49, Dean was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. Due to the nature of the cancer, it often isn't detected until its at Stage 4 and unfortunately this was no exception.
From here it was always been an uphill battle dealing with chemo and the like, all the while still managing for the most part to get into work and do as much as he could with his day to day family life. For a while the results were promising, but we now know that the situation has changed and Dean faces the choice of choosing quality of life over quantity meaning he will be unable to work or function without the aid of a wheelchair and carer if he receives the treatment that will only serve to extend his time with us a short while. Prospects are obviously less promising without the treatment.
I am hoping to raise funds to help see Deans family through this, allowing the family to spend the last of Deans time together without losing their home in the meantime. With some luck, a small buffer would allow some extra time for the family to get back on their feet.
Dean is my big brother and my best friend. An amazing person and is always there for anyone in need. All those who know him know you couldn't ask for a better friend. He has looked out for me my whole life, even now in this dark time. He truly deserves to spend as much time with his wife , kids and grandkids as he can.
