Deana Marie Jones

Deana Marie Jones is 51 years old. Most of you will know her from working at Taco Bell. She has been there for 35 years. On Monday, January 2 we rushed Deana to the emergency room in Fort Wayne. She was experiencing a headache and blurry vision. They did a CT scan. That night we found out that she had tumors in her chest and her brain. Deana was hospitalized for 4 days. During those 4 days, an MRI and a biopsy were done. While at the hospital it was confirmed that she had brain cancer and she immediately started radiation the following Monday. Tuesday, January 17 we went for an appointment with Deana's oncology Dr. It was explained that Deana has stage 4 lung cancer that has migrated to her brain. The Dr is very optimistic that with treatment the cancer can be put into remission. Because it has made its' way to her brain it will never be able to be gotten rid of. Deana will not be able to return to work. She will be undergoing chemo and immune therapy in the weeks to come. We are asking for donations to help Deana with medical expenses and living expenses.
