Deanne (Nanny) Johnson

On 5/6/19 Deanne (Nanny) Johnson was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer (adenocarcinoma) that has spread to her liver.  Deanne suffered a mild heart attack after having the biopsy procedure which resulted in two stints being put into her heart on 5/7/19.  Chemo treatments started on 5/28/19 and will be administered at Sanford in Thief River Falls every two weeks. 

Due to the Deanne's diagnoses, it was necessary for her to go on disability and Les is also on disability due to chronic back problems. 

Deanne (Nanny) and Les have experienced much trauma in their lives including the death of their 15 year old son, Brady, in October 2002, due to a car accident.   Their oldest son Bruce, is living with them due to a traumatic brain injury which occurred in 2015 and he continues to need their support.  Their daughter Jessica who has had thyroid cancer, neck surgery and mercury poisoning, also needs their support. 

Deanne and Les have always been the type of people who would give a person the shirt off their back and extend a hand to people who need help by being foster parents and supporting children and adults in need. 

Now they need our help.   Prayers and support are very welcome along with any monetary help which would be used to help with the travel, out of pocket costs related with this diagnoses and living expenses.
