Dean's Fearless Fight
Donation protected
Stanley Adsit........my longtime friend and much loved friend to many. We often refer to Stan as "Dean". I have done so for 28 years. He is an Assistant Director of Community Homes for Springbrook, Oneonta, NY.
He is a husband, a Father to 3 beautiful daughters and a brother to 6 siblings.
I share this story with each of you out of respect and love for
a dear friend. Dean's unabashed humor, kindness, caring and love for humanity is
unparalleled. His ability to communicate with the disabled population has been remarkable. Dean has helped many associates learn how to connect and build trust as a team and as a leader. His unique skill with people has brought much joy and happiness to the disabled population. I speak for my sons
who have enjoyed a 28 year relationship with Dean. Stephen and Gregory do not speak and are multiply disabled. They have a distinct bond with Dean.
Stan Adsit has been with Springbrook for 20 years and has lived in North Norwich for 23 years. Recently, Stan was Diagnosed with Cancer.....a rare form of Pancreatic Cancer. He is currently
hospitalized at Crouse Irving Memorial hospital in Syracuse NY. Stan is receiving treatment as recommended for this form of Cancer. We have additionally reached out to Memorial Sloan Kettering
hospital in NYC, for assistance and recommendations. Dean's circumstance is urgent. The cancer has metastasized to his liver and lungs, and time is of the essence.
We ask that you consider making a donation to assist the family with the additional expenses associated with this treatment. This disease is considered rare and high risk.
Please include this family in your thoughts and prayers.
