Dean's fundraiser for Zoe's Place

WALKING FROM LAND'S END TO JOHN O'GROATS AND BACK VIRTUALLY!!

Zoe's Place is an independent registered Children's charity providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants aged from birth to 5 years with life limiting or life threatening conditions.

 

The majority of the support that they provide is respite care where support is often needed on a daily basis and 24 hours a day. The support that they provide also allows families to recharge their batteries and to spend time with their other children which is hugely important to everyone.

 

Zoe's Place provides therapy to the children with the use of their onsite facilities, offer family support and counselling to families who's children are poorly, arrange sibling and family days to allow families to spend time together and then bereavement support during the most difficult times.

 

Zoe's Place in Coventry is a 6 bed hospice but due to the current level of funding are only able to currently have 4 babies at any one time. Any donations that you can make would make a huge difference to babies and families in our local area.

Virtual events like this are usually completed by participators over a 24 month period if they have work and family commitments but I am proposing to walk the 1748 miles over the 11 months ending on or before 30 November 2022!
